Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Center provides educational programs for women and families to access community resources and parenting.


parenting education

The “Earn While You Learn” (EWYL) program educates you on the stages of pregnancy, labor and delivery, life and parenting skills, while earning points to shop at our Baby Boutique.   Individual and group classes include information on pre-natal care, development, food and fitness, newborn baby care, car seat safety and more.  Staff and volunteer advocates will support you through your pregnancy and baby’s first year.  Connect with Sarasota Pregnancy Center to start the “Earn While You Learn” program.

As you participate in the “Earn While You Learn” program, you will earn points to shop at our Baby Boutique to obtain items for you and your family such as diapers, wipes, baby supplies, strollers, Pack ‘n Plays, baby clothes, and much more.

community referrals

Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Center has relationships with local agencies to provide referrals for items you may need to access in the community, such as medical care, emergency care, housing for pregnant women, child care, parenting skills, adoption counseling/services, food assistance, smoking cessation, drug/alcohol rehabilitation and mental health counseling.

family support

The staff and client advocates at Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Center also equip caregivers, such as grandparents and other family members, to provide support for you and your new baby.

adoption

Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Center will provide you with the support you need as you explore the adoption option and learn the adoption process.

abortion recovery support

If you have had an abortion, Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Center is here to support you.  Many women, no matter the reason why they chose to have an abortion, may deal with grief and guilt.  Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Center provides education and referral for counseling along with opportunity to be a part of an abortion recovery support group.

make an appointment

If you are sexually active and are concerned that you may be pregnant, make an appointment for a pregnancy test at Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Center.  The Center will answer your questions and provide you with factual information in order for you to make an informed decision.  If you are pregnant, you may qualify for a limited ultrasound at no cost to you.  All of our services are free and confidential.
