Typically guys are not excited about an unexpected pregnancy. Understandable.

Typically guys are not excited about an unexpected pregnancy. Understandable. They have no idea what to expect or what will be expected of them.

Maybe your own experience with family life wasn’t so great. Maybe you thought you didn’t even want to be a father. Certainly not yet anyway. The good news is there are nine months before baby comes.

That’s not a random amount of time. God, who came up with the whole idea of Family, built in a timeline He knew would be enough. Enough time for everyone involved. You can be ready too.

Try to remember that. You have enough time to prepare yourself, your partner, and your baby. Just because we have nine months to get ready for a baby doesn’t mean we automatically know what to do.

Maybe it’s a good move to get things arranged in your mind. Getting used to the idea of becoming someone’s father or mother is the first step. You have time to do this, especially if you find people to help you understand what’s coming your way. After that, you’ll have time to get prepared. That’s the next step.

Here’s where you take a minute and visit

www.sarasotapregnancy.com

Baby steps are not just for babies.

The site is all about helping you get yourself, your partner, and your soon-to-be-here baby ready for one another. Becoming a family is not a solo calling. It’s a humanity call. Finding other people who can help you is something you can decide to do. You just have to reach out.

Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Centerspecializes in filling the gaps of expectant parents with cost-free services in categories necessary to get yourself ready and to be ready for baby.

Cost-free!? Yes, for real. Cost-free.

You’re thinking, I don’t even know what I need. How am I supposed to help my partner too?

Smart questions. Now let’s consider how to get some answers. First, call or text 941-330-2273and make an appointment with Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Center.

During your first visit, the nurses will go over first things first–the expecting mother–her own health and wellness, and how her pregnancy is going.

What a relief it is to have a medical professional take time to examine you and your developing baby.

Maybe you’ve tried to see a doctor but no medical office can take you for several weeks at best.

That’s too long to go without knowing how things are going inside of you.

Maybe this is your first pregnancy and you have no clue what to expect and you’re a little worried. About everything.

Make the call or send the text to 941-330-2273 and get an appointment.

Remember, baby steps are not just for babies. Get seen by a medical professional. That’s the first step.

What about the dad? He’s nervous. Maybe afraid. Understandable.

Ask him to come with you to the intake visit. While you’re being examined by the nursing staff, dad can, if he wants to, meet the SMPC guy team.

SMPC’s guy team is on site each day for dads who need someone to talk to about the pregnancy.

These guys have been there. They understand. The best part is they are good listeners.

No judgment. No expectations. Just guy talk about a pretty big deal happening in your life.

Something happens when we get things off our chest–it doesn’t change the fact that you’re going to become a parent–maybe unexpectedly–but talking things over with someone helps. Becoming a father or mother to a tiny baby is a big deal, no matter how many times it happens in your life. If this is your first pregnancy, you may have different concerns than if this is a second or third pregnancy.

Maybe you’ve had multiple relationships with children. And now another baby on the way. Things can begin to seem a little overwhelming.

Understandable.

But why go it alone when there’s cost-free counseling available to you at Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Center?

What?! Cost-free counseling?

Yes, licensed, professional behavioral health counselors will meet with you, and typically there’s very little wait time to see one.

And maybe you do need to talk to someone about this unplanned pregnancy and all that’s going on in your life right now.

Maybe you’re thinking,

how am I going to manage this pregnancy and take care of a baby?

Understandable concerns.

Maybe you do need some of that time God provided inside of the nine months of pregnancy to get your mind and heart in sync with expecting a baby.

Doesn’t it seem reasonable to reach out toSarasota Medical Pregnancy Center and find out about the medical services, behavioral health counseling, and men’s support?

Think about it. You have the time to get things arranged and ready to welcome baby. You just need some help.

Maybe money’s tight and the SMPC nurses suggested improving your nutrition. That costs money.

The nurses provided you with cost-free prenatal vitamins at your intake visit. That was a blessing–those cost a lot and you know you need them to help baby develop properly

Baby steps. We all need to take baby steps to get where we’re headed.

Each time you go into SMPCyou find out more about taking care of yourself, your partner, and the baby who is growing inside of you every day.
